Carbon Fiber, depending on the brand and part, can be offered in Pre-Preg or Vacuum Carbon. Carbon Fiber is a woven pattern of carbon fibers, standard in a 3k weave.
-Pre-Preg, also known as Dry Carbon, is a much more durable and lighter form of Carbon Fiber. Baked into its mold, Pre-Preg Carbon has the mold resin pre integrated into the piece.
-Vacuum Carbon Fiber, also known as Wet Carbon, is placed into its mold with resin and vacuum sealed into its form. Both have the same finish but have different structural formulas.
