Woven 3k (default option): Woven Carbon Fiber (Standard 2x2 or 3k) - the most common carbon fiber weave. 2x2 weave woven carbon fiber is the default if listing does not specify the pattern. Woven 3K carbon fiber is a lightweight and high-strength material made from bundles of 3,000 carbon filaments (referred to as "3K") that are woven into a fabric pattern, typically in a twill or plain weave. It offers excellent tensile strength, stiffness, and durability while maintaining a sleek, smooth appearance with a distinctive checkerboard pattern.
Woven 16k (20% extra charge, made to order): Woven Carbon Fiber (16k) - refers to the number of carbon filaments (16,000 fibers) bundled together in a single strand, offering a balance of strength and flexibility. This type of carbon fiber is commonly used in applications requiring high performance and durability, such as in automotive, aerospace, and sporting goods industries. The 16k weave provides a slightly thicker, more rigid structure compared to lower filament counts, making it suitable for parts that need to withstand substantial stress and load.
Forged (20% extra charge, made to order): Forged carbon fiber - a composite material made from randomly arranged, short carbon fiber strands combined with resin and compressed in a mold. Forged carbon fiber offers greater design flexibility compared to 3K woven carbon fiber, as it can be molded into more complex shapes without compromising structural integrity. Its random fiber orientation reduces weak points caused by the directional patterns in 3K weaves, enhancing impact resistance. Additionally, it has a unique aesthetic appeal, with a marbled texture that stands out from the uniform weave of 3K carbon fiber.

Damaged Items & Lost Packages
Merchant provides shipping insurance ONLY if customer opts-in for "PREMIUM SHIPPING PROTECTION". Protection covers items for damage during transit. For insurance to be valid, please do make sure to CHECK FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE "ON THE SPOT" while delivery driver is on site. Otherwise, your claim will be DECLINED. If there is shipping damage, let the delivery driver MARK DOWN the damage ON THE SPOT (please make sure to take photos and keep the box) and REJECT the package.
Covers:
- Damages during transit.
- Damages identified at time of delivery.
- Lost during transit.
Does not cover:
- Lost after delivery. Some common examples are "I was not home", "I did not sign for it", "It was left outside", or "It was delivered to the wrong address".
- Damages found after items have been "delivered". Coverage will be declined if damage is found after carrier already delivers the item.
- Customer failed to inspect at time of delivery. Some common examples are "I was not home", or "driver was in a big rush", or "driver did not let me inspect", or "somebody else received it".
- 3rd party receiver failed to inspect at time of delivery. Some common examples are "somebody at the bodyshop received it", or "It was left at the front desk".
* Customers are responsible for their package once an item has been delivered. Please ensure that the package is in a secure environment upon delivery.
** Bodyshops are known to break items during installation. If damage is not identified AT TIME OF DELIVERY, please TAKE YOUR COMPLAINT TO THE BODYSHOP.
*** Bodyshops are known to lose items while items are "just sitting there", or "never touched them". If missing items are not identified AT TIME OF DELIVERY, please TAKE YOUR COMPLAINT TO THE BODYSHOP.

How long does it take to receive my item if shown in stock? And what is the lead time on backorder / pre-order items?
Our lead times for all parts range between 2 ½ to 3 months! We may already have your item incoming! To check, please call one our sales representatives! In stock items ship out between 2-4 business days after purchase (US and Canada). For international orders, please contact one of our sales representatives (stocking is different for international orders).
What is the difference between FRP and Carbon Fiber?
FRP is NOT Carbon Fiber and is a composite material of carbon polymers and fiberglass. Coming in a fresh sanded and primed finish, FRP is ready for paint or wrap! Carbon Fiber, depending on the brand and part, can be offered in Pre-Preg or Vacuum Carbon. Carbon Fiber is a woven pattern of carbon fibers, standard in a 3k weave.
What is "Pre-Preg" and "Vacuum" Carbon Fiber?
-Pre-Preg, also known as Dry Carbon, is a much more durable and lighter form of Carbon Fiber. Baked into its mold, Pre-Preg Carbon has the mold resin pre integrated into the piece.
-Vacuum Carbon Fiber, also known as Wet Carbon, is placed into its mold with resin and vacuum sealed into its form. Both have the same finish but have different structural formulas.

Do I need to sign for my package upon delivery?
Yes! All deliveries are signature required and we do ask to inspect package and item before signature to assure item is not damaged. If item is damaged DO NOT sign or accept the package and contact us!
What is the difference between Commercial and Residential shipping address?
Commercial is only needed for freight deliveries. A commercial address can be any place of business on commercial property such as an auto shop, dealership, store, bank, etc. Residential address is and place of residence such as your home, apartment, town home, etc.
